PROSECUTING ATTORNEYOur Mission
The Mission of the Canyon County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is to:
Protect the people of Idaho by vigorously and effectively enforcing the law and pursuing justice for all without fear, favor, or affection.
Protect the innocent, convict and appropriately punish the guilty, and protect the rights of victims.
Whenever possible, deter criminals from reoffending and rehabilitate offenders to be contributing members of society.
Welcome to the Canyon County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
As your Prosecuting Attorney, my duty is to uphold the law, protect this community, and ensure that justice is served. I take this responsibility seriously, and my office is committed to holding criminals accountable while supporting victims and maintaining the integrity of our legal system.
I have built a team of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to making Canyon County safer and ensuring that our government functions effectively. We accomplish this by:
- Aggressively prosecuting crime while upholding the highest ethical standards.
- Forging strong partnerships with law enforcement, victims, and the public.
- Providing excellent legal representation to Canyon County elected officials and departments.
This website is designed to give you full transparency into our work. Here, you’ll find critical information about the criminal justice process, victims’ rights, our budget and operations, and ways you can get involved. I encourage you to explore these resources and stay informed.
My vision is clear: I want this office to be the most effective, respected, and professional Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in Idaho. Every member of my team is committed to this goal, and I expect nothing less.
We cannot eliminate crime entirely, but together, we can ensure that criminals face justice and that our community remains safe and free. The law is only as strong as the people who stand behind it, so I thank you for your support and commitment to justice.
