The Canyon County Assessor’s Motor Vehicle Title & Registration Office will be closed to the public on Tuesday, April 23.
This closure will allow staff to be trained on the newest policy and procedures set forth by the Idaho Transportation Department, Idaho State Tax Commission, and Idaho Parks and Recreation. The office will reopen to the public on Wednesday, April 24.
Also note, that there are still opportunities for individuals to schedule appointments for vehicle registration. It has been an under-utilized program with only about 45–50 percent of appointments being used daily.
This closure is only for the Assessor’s Motor Vehicle Title & Registration Office. The DMV—Vehicle Driver’s License Office will be open for regular business hours.
