Testing is not provided by the Motor Vehicle Department; it is available only through the Driver’s License Office.
The Motor Vehicle Department is currently offering basic driver’s license services for those who already have an Idaho driver’s license
— including renewals, replacements, and Star Card applications.
If the Motor Vehicle Department is unable to process the service you need, you’ll need to schedule an appointment with the Driver’s License Office, which handles driver testing and advanced driver licensing services.
