CALDWELL, ID — The Board of Canyon County Commissioners will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the new $4.7 million Canyon County Elections Building on Wednesday, May 8, at 9:30 a.m.  Representatives from Beniton Construction, Caldwell City Council, Caldwell Urban Renewal District, and other Caldwell representatives will join the Commissioners and Clerk Rick Hogaboam, to break ground and officially kick-off construction on the project.

Construction on the 16,500-square-foot facility is expected to be completed in early January of 2025. Once completed, the building will be the new headquarters for our Elections office. The building will have a modern design and feature a number of amenities including nearly quadruple the space of their current office space with a larger training area, counting area, vault location and a storage area.
