GIS Data

Canyon County’s GIS Data includes base map layers such as the parcel ownership table, county boundary, parcel boundary polygons, parcel lines, city boundaries, and road centerlines in either a feature class or shapefile format.
GIS Data can be downloaded by FTP site and are free. Please see the “How to Order” section below.

Plat Maps

Each section within Canyon County has its own plat map. The compilation of all the County section maps is available in PDF format.

Subdivisions & Surveys

Historical recorded subdivision plats and record of surveys are scanned as TIFF files. The one-time download includes every historical subdivision & survey excluding the current fiscal year which falls under the quarterly folders.

Compilation of Appraiser Photos

The Appraisers take photos of properties each time they go out to assess the land and improvements of every parcel. The photos are compiled once a year on August 1^st and are now available for purchase.
Appraiser Photos are loaded onto a minimum 100GB external hard drive, provided by the purchaser. The price is $175 + tax. Please see the “How to Order” section below.

Data Distribution Policy

Canyon County’s GIS Data Distribution Policy allows for distribution of digital GIS data to domestic government agencies and their contractors at no cost.
